MISSION STATEMENT:

Our goal is to bring as many to know Christ as possible. We do this by providing medical care to meet a physical need and this gives us the opportunity to present Christ to them and to meet their spiritual need. Our patients also see Christ love for them in our actions, work, and words.

PRAYER REQUEST:

1. for God's protection in our everyday work and travel in Honduras
2. for wisdom to hear God's voice and obey it
3. for help in choosing the place for our Hospital
4. for all the funding to be supplied quickly
5. for all the supplies and equipment to be donated in good condition     and quickly
6. for us to be healthy
7. for God to put the people in our lives that can help us and remove     those that are a hindrance
8. to have a continuous supply of medicine and supplies
9. for construction teams to work on the hospital
10. for doctors to come work in the hospital

HISTORY OF WORK:

For two and one half years we have given medical care to the poor in Honduras. We have learned much about the struggles of daily living among the rural Honduran. Many "campesinos" or country people live on $2 - $5 daily. When they go to a doctor many times they are choosing not to eat so they can buy medicine. This is why we have been such a blessing to many people. The medicine we have is free. And the good news that Jesus loves them is free also. We have worked with many teams that have been a blessing to us. We have worked in many different and unique places. They consist of Jalaca, Candelaria, Talanga, Fuerzas Unidas, Colonia Nueva Danli, Flor de Campo, Lepaterique, Escuapa, Los Pastos, La Cuesta, La Chorrera, Las Pilas, and an orphanage Orfanato Vida Nueva. All of theses places are within two hours of Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. Some of these places we have only worked a couple of times with teams and others we have established clinics. We have also helped several poor mothers and widows with food and or clothes. We are also helping a poor boy go to school so he will have a future.
